Small pets are welcome to travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Passengers transporting pets in the cabin will be charged an excess baggage fee that varies depending on travel plans.

Pets who exceed 17 lbs (8 kg) will be transported as checked baggage instead. Passengers transporting their pets as checked baggage will be charged an excess baggage fee that varies depending on your travel plans.

For pets traveling in the cabin or as checked baggage, carriers must be well-ventilated with a firm base. Additionally, they must water and spill-proof. Bird cages must be covered with a thick lightproof fabric.
