Each passenger may only travel with 1 pet in the cabin and there's a maximum of 2 pets on each flight, so it's probably best to book Fido's spot as soon as you finalize your travel plans. You can contact the Vueling Customer Service Center at (+34) 931-518-158 to check availability.
Pets in the Cabin
Vueling welcomes small pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish, and turtles) to join their owners in the cabin on select flights. Animals and carriers must have a combined weight less than 17 lbs (8 kg). Vueling does not allow pets to travel if they have special characteristics (unpleasant smell, poor health, inadequate hygiene or violent behaviour) that may cause distress or danger to fellow passengers and crew. Each passenger may only travel with 1 animal. Pet fees vary depending on where you are flying. If Fido is traveling on a domestic flight, the fee is 30 EUR. Dogs traveling on International and Canary Island flights incur a charge of 45 EUR.
Pets in Checked Baggage
Unfortunately, Vueling doesn't allow larger pets to travel in the hold on flights. They also don't offer their own cargo service for animals.
For animals traveling in the cabin, carriers must be soft-sided and no heavier than 17 lbs (8 kg). The maximum dimensions for carriers in the cabin is 17" x 15" x 8" (45 cm x 39 cm x 21 cm). The animal must remain enclosed in their travel carrier, with breathing holes and a waterproof bottom. Additionally, food and drink bowls must be securely covered inside the carrier to prevent spillage. Vueling does not accept homemade carriers. If their carrier is deemed to be unacceptable or unsafe, Fido may be rejected at check-in.
Rodents, lagomorphs (e.g. rabbits), mustelids (e.g. ferrets), farm animals, birds of prey, and reptiles are not allowed to be transported on Vueling flights.
