Vueling welcomes small pets (dogs, cats, birds, fish, and turtles) to join their owners in the cabin on select flights. Animals and carriers must have a combined weight less than 17 lbs (8 kg). Vueling does not allow pets to travel if they have an unpleasant smell, poor health, inadequate hygiene or are violent. Each passenger can travel with one pet and only 5 pets are allowed per flight. Only 2 pets per flight are allowed on flights operated by Iberia. Pet fees vary depending on where you are flying. The fee for this service is 50 EUR on domestic flights and 60 EUR for all other flights.

For animals traveling in the cabin, carriers must be soft-sided and no heavier than 17 lbs (8 kg). The maximum dimensions for carriers in the cabin is 17" x 15" x 8" (45 cm x 39 cm x 21 cm). The animal must remain enclosed in their travel carrier, with breathing holes and a waterproof bottom. Additionally, food and drink bowls must be securely covered inside the carrier to prevent spillage. Vueling does not accept homemade carriers. If their carrier is deemed to be unacceptable or unsafe, Fido may be rejected at check-in.

  Flying with Vueling was super easy. Rudi is a 6kg Coton De Tulear. They weren't really interesting in the dog at check in, never checked his passport. Dogs need to fly in the seat next to the window, no idea why! But we did. Our bag fitted snuggly under the seat leangth wise (our soft bag was a little taller than their allowande of 21 cm (ours is 28cm). Barcelona airport has an amazing out door area that dogs can use - it is the smoking area localed near Macdonalds. There are plants that dogs can use for a quick pee, several dogs were there and we could run Rudi around.
  I'd fly Vueling with a dog again.
