Only 1 pet is allowed in the cabin and 1 pet in the hold on each Widerøe flight. Passengers must book animals a spot on board at least 72 hours before departure.

Small dogs and cats can travel in the cabin if the combined weight of the pet and carrier does not exceed 17 lbs (8 kg). Passengers are only allowed to bring 1 pet in a carrier in the cabin on each flight. Only 2 pets are permitted in the cabin on each flight. The fee for this service is between 529-750 NOK depending on the destination of travel.

Animals who exceed the dimensions to travel in the cabin and weigh under 99 lbs (45 kg) with a carrier may be accepted for transport as checked baggage. Only 1 pet is permitted on each flight due to size restrictions in the hold. 2 animals up to 30 lbs (14 kg) each, and of the same size, are allowed in the same carrier if they are familiar with each other. Additionally, animals under 6 months old can travel in groups of 3 in the same carrier. The fee for this service is 899-1750 NOK depending on the destination of your travel.

For pets traveling in the cabin, carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 16" L x 10" W x 9" H (40 cm x 25 cm x 23 cm). For pets traveling as checked baggage, carriers must not exceed 40" x 27" x 30" (102 cm x 69 cm x 76 cm).

The following animals are not permitted on Widerøe flights: Mink, pine marten, otter, beaver, hare, and weasel.
