Entry Requirements
Complete the following entry requirements to travel to New Caledonia with your pet:
- Pets are only permitted for entry from the following countries: France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, French Polynesia, Wallis and Futuna, Vanuatu, Australia and New Zealand. Check with New Caledonia's official government website for exceptions of other countries with a controlled rabies status.
- Pets must be identifiable via microchip or tattoo.
- Pets must have a rabies titration dating less than 12 months, but more than three months before entry.
- Dogs must be vaccinated against rabies, distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza, and bordetella bronchiseptica. Cats must be vaccinated against rabies, coryza, infectious panleukopenia, and chlamydia.
- Pets traveling to New Caledonia will require an import permit accompanied by a Veterinarian Certificate for Importation filled in by the pet's usual veterinarian.
Quarantine Information
Pets traveling to New Caledonia may be quarantined for up to ten days upon arrival.
