First floor madness
La Quinta by Wyndham Houston Baytown EastWe stayed overnight on a stopover with 2 dogs and a service dog. Our room was not bad, staff was nice but the 4th (top) floor was for smokers, and all the dogs were on the first floor. Instead of being spread out, at times it sounded like a dog pound when all dogs feed off each other and bark at the same time. We had guests across from us with 2 dogs and they barked, thus setting ours off. We were woken up several times at night from loud talkers in the hall with other dogs. We did have a continental breakfast available and place had been renovated but could use more of an upgrade. Not bad, just crazy.

Kimpton Brice Hotel an IHG HotelThis place was amazing to stay with furry friends! The hotel is super accommodating for ALL pets, not just service animals. Definitely staying here again when I’m in Savannah with my pup!

Dog Owner’s Getaway
Holiday Inn Resort Jekyll Island an IHG HotelWe booked this resort based on a recommendation from a previous dog owner and it was perfect for those with large dogs like us. There were plenty of places to walk them and take them to the beach. They enjoyed it and we were able to take them to eat in several places nearby. The rooms were so spacious they even got some playtime inside. Would highly recommend the ocean view room so you can walk your dog right outside your door. Everyone was friendly and service was great! We definitely will be making a return trip in the future.
