Dishonest

I has no issue with the physical hotel or location itself. However, within hours of us checking out, we realized that we had forgotten the fan that we take with us. This isn't just a cheap box fan. It's $138 with remote and several options which seem to work perfectly for us and our English bulldog. It sits approx 12 inches in height. We called and were told it hasn't been seen or put in lost and found by staff yet, but to call the next day. So we did. As well as the next and the following day after. I assure you the fan had to have been noticed if that room was ever cleaned. The fact that I remember leaving it sitting on the bed, would have made it rather difficult to change sheets for new guest without being noticed. Ultimately, it's my fault for leaving it, but I just hate that it's my fault for assuming a staff member would be honest with me when I called about my item I left behind. I'm sure with the holidays approaching, more guest will arrive so it's important that there is at least one person willing to be honest about the hotel. Therefore, I will share the results of my visit on as many platforms as possible, in hopes the staff may have their hourly pay raised enough so that stealing from the guest becomes a thing of the past.
