Great lunch and treat stop!
The Dutch PantryGreat place to stop when driving through VA for fast lunch and picking up great snacks and treats for the road… we enjoyed sitting outside at picnic tables with our dogs while enjoying our sandwiches and picked up some great sweet treats for later! Lliterally 100s of different containers of different sweets!

Great patio and dog friendly!
Three Li'l Pigs Barbeque Restaurantgreat lunch break on a full day of traveling. very nice patio (great table under a shady tree), good BBQ, and super friendly staff - they even brought our dog a bowl of water! will definitely stop there again.

Nice and clean for stopover
Hilton Garden Inn Harrisburg EastWe stayed here for 1 night 5 weeks ago during long road trip with 2 dogs. Nice large grassy area right in front of inn that is well lit for potty breaks as needed. Clean room and ok dining option for basic stopover (not huge ambiance).

Great stopover, will do again
Hilton HarrisburgHad a great 1 night stay with our 2 big dogs during our long road trip. Will definitely stay here when passing through again. Arrived at 7pm and had easy unloading of dog beds/bags at valet with easy check-in. Only 1 city block to great riverside park where we took our dogs for a long walk in the evening and morning (only a small potty area right next to front of hotel, but works for quick stop at arrival, at night, etc when don’t have time for longer walk). Able to leave dogs in room (we left in crates) and enjoyed a great steak dinner at on-site 1700 Restaurant.

Great location and stay
Hilton Nashville DowntownThe hotel is in a great location, with nice size suites with plenty of room to set up 2 crates and bring in a large bolster dog bed in the “living room” with room to still maneuver. Park across from the hotel entranceway (do not have to cross a street) was handy for potty breaks - and 2 guards in park made us feel safe when one of our pups wanted a 3am potty break! 2 high end restaurants on property (we enjoyed The Italian option while our pups were in their crates back in the room - just be aware that the last seating for the night is 8:45pm… but there are later options within short walking distance). We wished we could have stayed a little longer before continuing our road trip - it looked like there were some great areas to explore with the dogs. We would definitely stay here again.
