La Quinta Inn Albuquerque Northeast
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Albuquerque NortheastDog friendly. Plenty of grass area for the dogs. Right off the freeway and across the street from Cracker Barrel. But the property is quite dilapidated. The outside walkways and areas are really dirty, dirty parking lot. The building has been painted except for doors & railings. I assume they are getting to that. But it's obvious some things are painted rather than repaired/replaced. Staff moderately, not overly, helpful. The room was outdated and just didn’t feel clean because of it. Would recommend if can’t find something better.
Great Location But…
La Quinta by Wyndham McKinneyGreat location. Close to everything. Very safe area. Big grass area for fur friends. Very helpful front desk girl. The hotel has been updated fairly recently. Good breakfast. Nice little pool. But apparently they, like so many others, are suffering from a staffing shortage because the hotel is very dirty. The hallways are dirty, the floors in the rooms are dirty. Hard floors leave everything in plain sight. It took us 3 rooms to get one that was clean and acceptable. In one the toilet had been used and not flushed, the phone was broken, the floor was dirty. Second room the tv remote didn’t work and the bathtub faucet was running.
Nobody to fix it or check it out so moved us to a third room. It was acceptable. I bought a can of Lysol because it was pretty sure the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. Door handles yucky and the room hadn’t been dusted at all. It was safe and great for the dogs. I saw two employees the whole stay and the front desk lady, who was amazing, was doing multiple jobs. She was the breakfast cook and cleaner, and was always away doing jobs around the hotel. She is to be commended.
