Great patio and food
Mama's PizzaEasy to find just off US-17. Traffic slows here, so noise wasn't a problem. Very friendly staff, but PLEASE let them know inside that you want service on the patio, as they don't watch for new customers out there. We had a yummy "works" pizza and a slice of limoncello cake. We've had eggplant here before and it was good, but the pizza is the star, starting with a nice, thin crust.

Great bbq
Smokin Jim's House of BBQHad a pulled pork plate with Lima beans and Mac and cheese. I usually alternate between garlic bread and corn bread. Could get both for a small extra charge, but I like to save the room for pecan pie or bread pudding.

Great place to watch the game
Duke's BrewhouseVery good burgers, chicken Phillys, and onion rings. "Dukes" doesn't hint at a John Wayne theme, it refers to the daisy dukes worn by the servers. Nice covered patio can be enclosed if weather dictates, and the have a couple of heaters when needed. Service was friendly and they brought out a dog bowl of water.

Sunny patio
Lake Alfred Diner IncHad a very good Ruben on the patio. Nice umbrellas when shade is preferred, and a few sturdy water bowls for the hound. Gets very busy on nice weekends, and they seem to still have the tables arranged at COVID distance, which reduces capacity. When they are busy, service can be spotty, but always friendly.

Great fajitas, salsa a little weak
San Diego's Mexican Grill and Sport BarThe screened in patio is shady and well ventilated. Service was friendly and fast, the chips were fresh and tasty, but the salsa was too thin for my taste. The chicken fajitas were excellent and were served quickly.

Great burgers across from Legoland Florida
Glory Days GrillGot hooked on Lakeland Glory Days, and this one is just as good. Covered patio faces south, and is neat and comfortable. Greeter and server fawned over the dog. This time I had an excellent Glory Burger, a special on Mondays.

Nice folks, good food.
Angel's Dining CarVery busy for lunch on Saturday. Server warned us that the food would take a while, but kept our drinks topped off while we waited. Worth the wait! Burger, chili fries and onion rings were great. Nice people shared their picnic table because of the crowd.
