Great food & service, multiple outdoor options for pup
The Speckled TroutThey're famous for trout and it always delivers. This time it was the cracker-crusted. Yum! Excellent Hoppin' John as a side. Daughter's mac & cheese was cold; replacement was lukewarm - that's the only reason for knocking them down one bone. Has both covered and open air patios for pets. "Extensive and desirable" craft beer selection as well.
Basic but clean accommodations
Cliff Dwellers InnWe had one of the two pet-friendly rooms, so designated since they have hardwood floors. Clean if dark & dated. Light breakfast offered (mini-donuts, pound cake, Pop Tarts, coffee, etc.). Although a "pet relief" area is advertised, it's really a couple of tiny patches of weedy grass. Stay was for two nights - did not get maid service and had to ask for TP as we had only been provided one partial roll.
