Clean and quiet
Holiday Inn Poughkeepsie an IHG HotelThis was fine for our one-night stay, clean and quiet. Personally, I wouldn’t care to stay more than a night or two here as the room is very basic and the bathroom has very little space for toiletries etc. It’s convenient to stores & restaurants, and there is a good grassy area to walk your dog. The included breakfast was a disappointment after reading all of the rave reviews about it. Cold pancakes, etc. I guess it’s better than nothing, but if you’re looking for a nice breakfast, head to a restaurant. A decent pet friendly option if you’re passing through.

Great property and location
Hampton Inn Portsmouth CentralSpacious, clean rooms. Warm cookies, popcorn, and happy hour complimentary wine & beer greeted us upon our arrival. Good timing! Great location with tons of chain restaurants & stores right outside your door. Was very convenient for us.
