Great location and service
La Quinta by Wyndham Birmingham HooverWe liked the staff, the location, and the room was very nice. It was very close to Oak Mountain State Park that we took our dog to walk before getting back on the road

Really bad
Motel 6 Gainesville FLMotel 6 is never first rate, but this one was pretty bad. Had a non smoking room that smelled like smoke, grasshopper or some large insect on the wall, smoking holes in bedspreads. Refrigerator, but no microwave. Only one channel on TV. Bathroom had one bar of soap and no shampoo. My wife wouldn’t even shower there.

A little rundown
Red Roof Inn PLUS+ & Suites Chattanooga - DowntownThis Red Roof Inn was a little run down and had two ice machines. One was out of order and the other never had ice. I brought this up to management and to their credit they did bring me a small bag of ice. The neighborhood is not the best either.

Easy to get to off interstate
Econo Lodge MonticelloThe motel was fine, although a little older than some econo lodges we’ve stayed at. Nice and quiet even though easy access to interstate. Ample area to walk the dog and Subway nearby to grab quick bite. I would recommend this motel.

Red Roof Inn ChipleyNice, safe area right on Main Street.Very pleasant check in and she came to our room to help us set up the TV.
