Puppy playtime not worth it

I took my puppy there for puppy playtime and was very disappointed. First we showed up and waited with numerous other people in the very small entry way for the class to start, no one came out to get us so we all just went in, overlapping with other dogs who were leaving their training session. Once the session started, all the person onsite said was that this was puppy playtime, don’t talk to your dog or encourage them to play, just leave them alone. I sort of get that but there were a lot of pet owners there who had never socialized their puppies before and I could see the anxiety on their faces...and on their puppies. Fifteen minutes in the instructor had the bright idea of putting the really young pups in a separate section but by then, in my opinion, the damage was already done to those poor pups. There was no water available for any of the dogs, many who were running and panting and really needed to be hydrated. Lastly, and what I think is most important, is that the person checking us in never validated anyone’s shot records, she just said that by the time the dogs got to be a certain age, it was just assumed they’d have all of their shots. I’m never going back!
