Worst dog park in Eugene.
Dog Park at Candlelight ParkThe owners of the dogs are the problem here. They don’t watch their dogs and just play on their phones, my dog has been targeted multiple times, so much so that I’ve not returned while others are present in months. I go very early, before sunrise, and people will come to the side of the park we are on when there is no one on the other side and just not watch their dogs. It’s very disheartening to want to properly socialize my dog, but also wanting to set him up for success.
Nice overall
Wilder Dog Parkwe were visiting from out of town and my boy just needed some time to be a dog.
we went to this park and we’re surprised they had agility pieces in the park( we’ve been to several dozen public dog parks across the state), while I will admit they’ve seen better days my Rosco was able to use and get around on all of them.
the fencing was low but he stayed inside, being a standard poodle he could have easily jumped them, but that was not an issue. overall a great park if you’re use to dealing with mud. will come back when in town again for sure.
