Great Location, Great Staff

The hotel is right next to the state capital which has pretty grounds for walking your dog. The gates close at 9pm so you’re pressed to find an adequate spot for your dog to relieve itself later at night. The park has doggy bag stations and plenty of trash cans. I just wished there was another green space option after hours. The hotel is older but the suite we were in was well decorated and the beds were fantastic. There are many guests with dogs which is really nice to see in the heart of a city. The parking is by valet only, and they were more than willing to help. They even allowed my daughter to park her car in front of the hotel for an hour or two late evening without charging her the $30 parking fee. The restaurant looked nice but we had other dining plans. I would highly recommend the hotel.
