Dog Park Changed

A couple of weeks ago the entire dynamic of this dog park changed. I live 2 miles from the park and used in every day, sometimes twice a day. Never really had problems. People are friendly and monitor their dogs. However, due to some "complaints" as per the Town of Beekman the fees have more than doubled. Plus out of town residents are no longer welcome and the people who frequent the dog park will be policing anyone who breaks the 25 or so rules the town came up with. I will drive the 10 more miles to use a park that is more conducive to fun. Local politics gone crazy.
