Great stay!
Candlewood Suites Pensacola - University Area an IHG HotelFido was happy with the potty areas including trees surrounding the hotel. We were all happy with the exceptional roominess of the studio suite, which we selected because we were staying for 5 days. We were close to the beaches so Fido had a romp in the warm surf daily. Warning, remember to get a toy that floats.

Serene pond
La Quinta by Wyndham BiloxiFido was pleased: plenty of potty spots and a dog park within 3 miles. Humans liked the large room in the mini suite. The only sticking point was the linoleum and tile floor, which was so dirty it was sticky. If the floors had been clean, this stay would have been a 5.

Very good
Candlewood Suites Gonzales - Baton Rouge Area an IHG HotelMore than adequate area for Fido to potty. Rooms were very comfortable and guest laundry was free.

Excellent.
Drury Inn & Suites Lafayette LAGood lottery areas for Fido. Large comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. The evening cocktails and “appetizers” were sufficient for dinner.

Not a good location
Best Western VicksburgVery little room for Fido’s potty breaks; the motel was perched on a hillside. There was a party going on in one of the upstairs rooms. Shortly after we asked management to intervene at 11:45 PM, there was a shooting. 9 shots fired and about 5 cars fled the scene.

Terrible
Residence Inn Shreveport AirportFido had a great potty area and an area fenced on 2 sides in which he could run free with his e-collar on. The room was good sized and the positives end there. The carpet was filthy and matted. The textile covered chair was dirty and had damaged arms. The kitchen and bathroom had roaches. They sprayed the room which eliminated the baby roaches but the adults continued to hunt the area. When I informed the desk person the spraying hadn’t worked and the carpets were dirty, the response was irritable as if I were being unreasonable.

Excellent for people
Candlewood Suites Hot Springs an IHG HotelKing executive suite, kitchen and separate bedroom. No charge laundry but 1 out of 3 washers functioned. For Fido very limited potty area; had to walk up the street for more room.

Super 8 by Wyndham HannibalThe room was small, dark, and the carpet was torn up at the doorway where I assume a dog had been left alone in the room and clawed to get out. I showed the person at the front desk the damage to the carpet and the response was that’s why we have designated pet rooms . The room also bore no resemblance to the photo in the advertisement. I showed that photo to the clerk and he stated they had no rooms that looked like the photo. Through BringFido we were able to get our money back and book a room elsewhere.

Sleep Inn & Suites HannibalPlenty of room for Fido’s potty breaks. The room was large, light, and comfortable. The stay was enjoyable and we extended an extra day.

Excellent for Fido
Comfort Inn Moline Quad CitiesThe room was acceptable. The sofa upholstery was a little worn, but the sofa support was good. There was ample area for potty breaks on the Inn circumference. In back of the hotel just across a creek was a great underutilized park where Fido could run free in the shade of venerable trees. Terrific for a large dog.

Best Western Plus Ramkota HotelNo urine stains on the carpet, visible or detected by male fido. Ample areas around perimeter of facility for potty breaks. Nice 3 acre dog park within a 15 minute drive. 15 minute drive to downtown. 3 pools, 2 indoors (1 for small children and 1 with a good sized water slide for kids and adults).

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham BillingsLarge comfortable rooms. Far enough from the main road to minimize traffic. Plenty of grass for potty breaks. Manno was intrigued with the chipmunks. There is a huge fenced in dog park (3 acres) nearby. What a treat!

Not happy
Elk Country InnThe room was a good size and comfortable. The reception at the front desk was tepid. We did receive a good restaurant referral to a steakhouse. There is major construction going on at the hotel with lots of dust and limited parking. We went to dinner early and had parking near the room. The next morning the vehicle was trapped with other guests parking behind us 4 deep. There is a fairgrounds nearby with a fenced dirt parking lot where we could work the fog and let him run free.

Across the street from the river/falls
Best Western Driftwood InnWe were literally 2 minutes from the falls and could walk their entire length. There were trees and grass all along the river. We had a 5 minute drive to a university park next to INL where a section was unused and I could work the dog free. The room was a little small and only had a river view from the 2nd floor rooms. Breakfast was hot, which is a rare find during Covid 19.

Great location
Clover Island InnTiny potty area behind hotel. However the walk along the Columbia River was 50 ft away and a 10 minute drive took us to Columbia Park, which wasn’t crowded and the opportunity for a dog with an e-collar was perfect for running free. Staff was great.
