Good for walking
Lagoon GreenwayWent on this trail about a week ago on a Thursday morning and it was beautiful! No sign of any alligators, but we did see some respectful dog owners walking their good pups. Seems like a popular spot for dog walking. Poop bags provided at start of trail. Trail is also very well kept. Highly recommend.
Love the atmosphere
Post & VineBeautiful outdoor seating and covered. Arrived for happy hour for half off house wines and domestic beers. Highly recommend trying out the appetizers and sharing with a friend. Staff had no issue with our dog and seated us with plenty of space for a standard poodle. Prices are high, but worth checking out even if it’s just for a drink or two.
Dusty
The Alice a Sullivan Dog ParkMy dog visited the large dog section of the park. It was mostly dirt and dust. There were only 2 other dogs at the time and their owners barely controlled them. Constantly bulldozing my dog and playing too rough. I’m sure this was an isolated incident but the park being mostly dirt meant my dog was filthy in under 30 min. I won’t be returning.
Clean And Welcoming
Estelle Cohn Memorial Dog ParkThis was our first visit and for us it’s a bit of a trip, however it is one I will gladly make weekly. The entire park was very clean and the dogs and their parents were so welcoming. Those that I met today take pride in keeping their park clean and are vigilant of their dogs. Mostly grass or wood chips to cover up muddy spots, which I appreciate. There’s also water hoses to fill up bowls, a nice track around the park, and plenty of bags and cans to dispose of waste.
