Worth It!

Dog Park at Sesquicentennial State Park

Some of these reviews are a few years old. As of Spring 2019, the dog park is still shaded, popular, does have lots of regulars that have been coming for more than 10 years. Rangers are very attentive when asked, but do not hover. Rangers maintain the area well. The office hours are 9-5 seven days per week. And we love that you have to register to access. Dogs are expensive. Vet's are expensive. This park is close to 2 interstates, and you don't know what might come off the road traveling through. The small fee & registration with all the shot records keeps everyone safe in multiple ways. SC State Parks DO NOT RECEIVE TAXES to operate. All money collected at the park, is spent on this park! Oh, almost forgot. If you need a walk, put the leash back on the dog and explore the over 12 miles of shaded trails within the rest of the park. Great place!
