Very Slow Service

While in this part of town with our dogs we checked BringFido for a place to have lunch. We decided on this place and when arrived we found lots of people were there with their dogs on the patio. Hostess informed us there would be a wait for a table as they only allowed people with dogs to sit at tables on the edge of the patio along the railing.

After a significant wait we were seated and then had to wait for our server. When our sever finally made his way to our table we were already ready to order food and we asked for a bowl of water for the dogs as we saw them under other tables. Our sever informed us they only had a few of the bowls and we would have to wait for someone with a bowl to leave. Both of our orders came out wrong and had to be sent back. Refills were an afterthought. From what we could tell our server only had 4 tables so I’m not sure where he kept disappearing too for long periods of time. We spotted the Pizza place across the street and kind of wished we had gone there instead. Once we got what we ordered it was not all that great. Dog’s never did get a bowl we gave them one of our glasses. We were there for almost 2 hours just to have lunch. Not worth it, we will not be back.

Why are they listed here?

After walking in a nearby park with our dogs we looked on Bring Fido to find a restaurant for lunch. Twisted Taco came up and since we enjoyed their food last time we were there we opted to dine with the dogs there. When we arrived we found half of the parking lot was blocked off for an event they were having in the parking lot. They had tables set up outside as well as a tent a few games.

We went inside and told the hostess we saw they were on the Bring Fido website and told her we had 2 adults and 2 dogs. The hostess had no idea what we were talking about and had to find a manager. The manager told us we could sit out at one of the tables in the parking lot and refused to let us sit on the covered patio. Of course the parking lot tables had no shade at all out on the hot asphalt. After we ordered a DJ started playing awful music from the tent. If we had known about the DJ we would have just left without ordering anything. On top of the music there were also people smoking even though smoking at restaurants including outdoor seating was banned 15 years ago. None of the servers told the smokers to stop and ours was very slow with refills and never did bring us a bowl of water for the dogs. Why are you on Bring Fido if you don’t allow dogs on your covered patio? Where would we have been seated if you were not already having the event in the parking lot.

Food was good but everything else made for a horrible experience.
