Customer Service Needs Improvement
Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant an IHG HotelThis hotel is newly refurbished with laminate flooring in each room. Dogs under 80 lbs. are welcome. The outdoor pool area is amazing, and pool towels are provided. The restaurant is reasonably priced and service in the restaurant is much better than the hotel itself. In case the staff is unable to tell you where the dog walk is located, turn down the hallway to the left of the front desk. There is a door to the outside that opens to a nice grassy area. Bring your own bags. There is a receptacle, but the bag dispenser was out our entire visit.

Great Front Porch!
West Ashley Crab ShackDogs are welcomed on the porch with a bowl of ice water. The porch is covered with several ceiling fans. It is also built around a live tree, so the tree canopy provides extra shade. The food was excellent, and our waitress was awesome. We recommend the crab cakes.

Great Place for an Evening Out!
Poogan's PorchWe went on Easter Sunday around 5 p.m. Our party of 6 did not have to wait. We were taken to a table on the back patio that was sheltered and shaded. The waiter brought Angel ice water almost immediately. We did not have to ask for it. Other dog owners were also enjoying the nice setting. We felt very welcome.
The food was delicious, but the menu was limited. Entrees are a little pricey. Probably not a good choice if you have kids in your party.

Great Covered Patio
The Kickin' ChickenLocated on the sketchier end of King Street, but great for day and early evening dining. The patio is covered and has several fans. Water for our fur-baby was offered and the overall feel was dog-friendly. Great place for burgers and sandwiches. Nice selection of salads. Beer and Cider are served in frosted mugs. Dishes are a little heavy on the chili powder, but all-in-all it was a very positive experience.

Great location!
Red's Ice House Shem CreekGreat location on the water with a large deck. Propane heaters helped keep the spring chill to a minimum. I did not see water bowls or treats out for their four-legged guests, but the staff was friendly and there were several other dogs out enjoying the sunny day. My only complaints were the wait (almost an hour) and a lack of grass for business purposes.
