Awful Experience with Dog owners

There are two areas designated for the dogs. LARGE & SMALL.
We had our 6lb. yorkie/dauschund mix in the small area when a couple decided to bring their 25lb. very energetic dog into the small dog area as well. When I asked them to take their dog to the other area so our SMALL dog could play in his appropriate area they refused to do so because of the pit bulls and large dogs in that area. Heated words were exchanged and with them refusing to leave we had to pick our dog up and leave which honestly wasn't fair to us. We were there first and enjoying until this point. When I ask the security guard to go address the issue he came back and told us that it was a "medium" size dog and he couldn't make them leave. Obviously there needs to be something done about this problem. No one who owns a small dog in the 10lb or under range wants their dog to play with a dog that could hurt them, even if it was accidentally. Very bad experience and unless addressed I don't know if we will return.
