Traffic and parking is awful at Pier Park

I'm a local (PC...Not PCB)...for me to drive cross town...is a living nightmare with all the construction and traffic. Parking is very limited at the Pier area. Once you get to the beach it is awesome, but the aggravation to park and get there
especially on weekends are horrible during tourist season. Wish there was a beach or two on the Thomas Dr area that could be dog friendly...It's not that complicated as they didnt do anything cosmic except mandate this is the only designated area on PCB that is dog friendly.
