Great location, great room!
Jot's ResortWe had a riverside room and a balcony that provided us with amazing views of the river wildlife, morning and evening river traffic that was included the local fishermen as well as sightseers. All were pleased with the extra large television in order to watch our favorite team on Sunday football! All-in-all, it was a great experience. We will definitely be back!
Nice place to take winter break
Breakers Boutique InnStaff was kind, room was exceptionally sparkly-clean (very impressive!), location is good (loving the new pizza place right down the street)! Perfect place for a mid-winter quick getaway with our two furry kids!!
La Quinta quality as expected; Not so pet-friendly
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham EugeneVery little room to roam or to go to the bathroom...One little spot for MANY dogs. Also, not a first room floor so convenience (or should I say, Inconvenience) was a factor.
Dog Friendly?? People Friendly?! Hmmm...
Red Lion Hotel EurekaThe Red Lion, Eureka, from a pet-friendly context, offers little to rave about. Yes, they excepted our two large dogs (@ an extra $20/night which is typical and understandable). The accommodations were decent with easy to clean laminate floors. Unfortunately, this is where the positivity ends...little room for MANY dogs to go to the bathroom, no floor level rooms for easy in and out with pets, longer stays offered no daily or even bi-daily clean ups (floor swept, trash removal, amenity refills, etc.). You are near beaches and sand... with dogs, (I cleaned the floor with damp hand towel and was reprimanded for it by a staff mbr.). All in all, I probably wouldn’t recommend this hotel for it’s “pet-friendliness”.
