I have a 5 yo male min-pin and activities in Petaluma fairly frequently. We always stop at Oak Hill park while there to give the boy a chance to run around and dissipate extra energy.

Two bones is generous
Field of Dogs Dog ParkThe "park" is mostly gravel, a few dead weeds. It's not maintained in any way. Owners are not particularly friendly, some gather in the small shaded pavillion, others just stand around. Most are not interacting with their pets. People who use the park are supposed to maintain it, but you know how that goes -- the tragedy of the commons.
Oak Hill lovely park in Petaluma
Oak Hill Dog ParkIt's not very big, but it is contained and dogs can run around without leashes. It's mostly gently sloped terrain, not manicured grass. Interesting for the dogs. The quiet residential blocks around the park are nice for leashed walks, too.
