Good even with the train horn
Holiday Inn Express Le Claire Riverfront-Davenport an IHG HotelGood, ample pet relief areas. Breakfast was good. A warning about the 5:33 am train horn would have been nice.

Needs Major Redo
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Silverthorne - Summit CoInitial room assignment, the bed hadn't been changed, switched to another. Very worn furniture, sticky carpets, not maintained well. No pet relief area. Staff nice and as accommodating as possible. Breakfast - basics, fine.

The Gonzo InnRoom had a door to a large grassy area for pet relief and bags available. Small cafe, good breakfast.

Very dog friendly!
Hampton Inn RawlinsSecond time here in two weeks and again a nice welcome. Lots of nice grass for my dog and I was even given a biscuit bag (two dog biscuits and a plastic poop bag) at check in.I'd stay here again!

La Quinta by Wyndham KearneyI love this place and have stayed here several times. Great space for pets, staff is very welcoming, clean, modern and safe. Two good restaurants within walking distance seal the deal. Highly recommended.

Fancy
The Current Iowa Autograph CollectionNo real place nearby for my dog to do her business. For the price, I was surprised no one offered to help with luggage. Valet parking was self parking (actually fine) and my room was very chic. I probably wouldn’t stay again based on value and services.

Casino = cigarette smoke
Maverick Hotel and Casino by Red Lion HotelsMy first room smelled of cigarettes so was reassigned and that worked, it was clean and safe. There were areas to walk my dog. The downside, the lobby, some hallways and many outside areas had a definite cigarette smoke odor. If you're sensitive, as I am, I wouldn't recommend this property.
