manager heartless and unprofessional

Best Western Plus Whitewater Inn

We booked this hotel for the last night of a road trip. The day we were to stay hear, I found out my best friend had just entered hospice after a long struggle with cancer. I called BringFido to see if I could cancel for a full refund, and they said it was up to the hotel, but they would contact them. I was soon informed that the hotel declined despite being made aware of the situation. I drove directly home that day to see my friend before she passed, and did not stay at the hotel despite their refusal for full refund. I later tried to call the manager myself, but he/she would not return my calls. Don't reserve at this hotel.

Clean and comfortable, with a good breakfast. Nothing stood out, but met all expectations.

Above average in quality

DoubleTree by Hilton Pittsburgh Cranberry

Nicer than most hotels, yet still dog friendly. We enjoyed some time alone in the indoor/outdoor pool. A lot of dining options in the area, but no free breakfast.

clean, quiet, comfortable

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Marion Northeast an IHG Hotel

We stayed here at the end of our vacation for one night and I would stay again. The hotel was nice and the people friendly. There are a lot of dining options all around.

Drury Inn & Suites Birmingham Lakeshore Drive

Please, note that the below review is for a different hotel. This hotel was extremely loud in the lounge area. We had to walk up several flights of stairs when coming and going from our room as we were put on the 3rd or 4th floor and they did not want us using the elevator with a dog. When we checked in, we asked the person at the front desk several questions and she flat out ignored every one and never answered any of them. The pool was crowded and seemed to be small as it was divided between indoor and outdoor. The entire hotel sadly seemed to be racially segregated, right down to all white people on one side of the pool and all black people on the other. This was very awkward. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and met expectations.
