Nice for off season

We had a nice walk around the perimeter of the park. Even though dogs are not permitted on the beach, there are paths that lead to small areas where a dog could pop into the water to cool off. Dogs must be kept on leash at all times. It was pretty quiet the day we went and there is a separate area to go fishing. I don’t know what it’s like during the summer but this is good to visit spring and fall without crowds.
