A little sparse
Home2 Suites by Hilton Cleveland BeachwoodLots of space in the suite we got. Good kitchenette, bathroom, extra couch and desk area. Good amount of space for 3 retrievers and their crates. Spare furnishing style - flat, square, not so comfy, but utilitarian. Carpeted stairways - dogs liked that.

Hampton Inn & Suites Rochester HenriettaVery nice building, grounds, and room. First-class accommodations and roomy. Good, easily accessible grass areas for dogs. Accessible luggage carts and elevators. Magnetic keys worked smoothly. Very much worth the higher room rate. Recommend to all Fidos and their families!

Good hotel in middle Tennessee
Quality Inn & SuitesNewly renovated, clean, good heating/cooling. Economical rates. Ice machine in good shape and working. Single king room quite spacious enough for 3 retrievers and crates. Elevator. Helpful management that allowed 3 dogs, one over their usual limit. Extended our stay 1 day on short notice. Will stay there again, as it is near one of our dog activity places.

Good value
Extended Stay America Suites Cleveland Beachwood Orange Pl NElevator and luggage carts, spacious room (1 queen) for crates. Good kitchen in room (good freezer and trays for ice cubes), but no utensils, silverware or cooking pots or pans. Good dog walk areas although near busy urban streets.

Good basic lodging, good value
Best Western Plus Fort Wayne Inn & Suites NorthOlder but well kept hotel. Good heat, hot water, quiet at night, good dog areas outside. Not fancy, but good location close to Allen County Coliseum and lots of shopping and restaurants. Close to Home Depot and Lowe’s if you have to fix a crate unexpectedly!

Super 8 by Wyndham MedinaGood no-frills highway stayover, good value for the price. Easy access from I-71. Staff is polite and helpful - changed us from second floor to first floor when we arrived. Unfortunately, no elevator! Good set aside pet walk area away from parking lot.

Very poor
Red Roof Inn Rochester HenriettaPoor policy of two pets per room. We rewarded them by booking a second room. We received for this: No hangers, all lamps broken. No light over sink. AC not functional until I happened to find a reset button in the plug on the floor. No trash can in one room. Poorly functional door lock in one room. Asked and asked for two rooms together. Were put off on this until our arrival, after multiple requests on day leading up to arrival. We will not book Red Roof again.

Good hotel so close to the highway
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Chattanooga - East RidgeReady for pets, smoothly operated. Rooms in very good condition, helpful staff. Good but limited outside grounds. Would stay there again, with the “herd”!
