Why is he wearing an ankle bracelet?
Quality InnHotel is tired and needs a serious facelift. Room was below average and the public spaces ie. hallways were dreadful. Saw an employee wearing an ankle bracelet. I understand people need a break, but I just don’t feel comfortable when someone wearing an ankle bracelet has access to guest rooms. Poorly maintained grounds were not good for doggie walking.

Great room in a great town
The Ouray Main Street InnWhat a nice break from big-box hotels.
Room was very clean. Everything worked as it should. Hosts Nova and Steve were both welcoming and helpful.
Great dining nearby.

Not great dog walking area
Best Western Plus Guymon Hotel & SuitesAverage hotel. Not great for walks. 54 Pub that the hotel owns is a dump.

Great area for short dog walking
Sagebrush Inn & SuitesRooms are tired but comfortable. Wi-Fi was atrocious in and near our room. Bar and live music were great.
3+ miles to Taos Square. Good experience if you are OK not being in town.

Garbage on grass
Comfort Inn LakeshoreOutside and around the hotel the 2’ wide fringe of grass had plenty of litter strewn about. Sidewalks along the busy road were OK. Rooms were below average. In general this property is poorly maintained.

Where can I walk my dog?
My Place Hotel - Marquette MICalling a hotel “dog friendly“ with only a fringe of grass doesn’t cut it for me. No reasonable walking options nearby. Rooms were spotless.
