rude greeting

My dog and I were greeted at the front by a large man with an accent (I believe German) and was shoed away immediately. I explained that I saw this restaurant listed as dog friendly and wanted to show him the site so he could see that I was not lying and that others may come with dogs, as well. He said he didn't want to see and would tell them to leave like he was doing to me. They did have a patio but I never got the chance to ask if dogs were welcome there. Would never recommend.
