Comfort and Location
Tahoe Vistana InnMy wife, 60lb border collie mix, and I had a great stay at Tahoe Vistana. The room we were in was quite large, with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee table, and they even left a dog bowl and biscuit for the pup. The heater worked well, and the shower temp was nice and toasty too. The location was great if you're exploring north Tahoe. Only negative was that the bed was not very comfortable, but everything else made up for it.

Great location, comfortable accommodations
Station House Inn - Near Heavenly GondolaStation House Inn is in a great location, just a short walk from Casinos, Heavenly Village, and a private beach (not dog friendly) in South Lake Tahoe. Other public and dog friendly beaches are just a short drive (10 min) away. The inn has a restaurant attached, which serves delicious food, and has a dog friendly deck.

Friendly staff, great location and amenities
Pacific Gardens InnMy brother, dog and I had a great stay here. We stayed in a two bed room, which also had a separate living room, and full-size kitchen. The living room was cozy and included a fireplace, which they provided wood for. The location was perfect for staying somewhere quiet, but close to the main street in Pacific Grove, and some walking trails.
