Clean, quiet, large room
Comfort Inn Pocono Lakes RegionWe had a large room on the first floor near to an exit door, which was great for both doggie and us. Easy to load & unload car. Room was clean. Easy on/off the highway. I-Hop within walking distance.
Staff loved our dog
ARRIVE MemphisValet parking is really the only option and was $30/day. Room did not have refrig, microwave, or coffee pot. Coffee downstairs was good but expensive. Room & shower were great. Our dog loved to sit in front of staff waiting for her treat. Seems the hotel and amenities cater to the 20-49 year olds more than the general travel population.
Comfortable Bed and Doggie treats!
Home2 Suites by Hilton ConwayWe had a one night stop over on the way to Memphis. Zoee really loves dogs and gave ours a goodie bag with treats and a tennis ball. We had everything we needed to reheat left overs for dinner.
Nice room, breakfast below par, staff uninspired
Best Western Plus YukonThe room was nice and had direct outside access which was nice for our doggie. Breakfast ran low on items by 8:15, no spoons, no half & half (just flavored fake stuff). Better for dogs than people.
Very clean and great staff
Days Inn by Wyndham DalhartWe only spent one night as stop over. The room was very clean and no unpleasant odors. (The hall did have a bad odor, but it did not enter the room.) Breakfast in the morning was simple but good. Pup was happy with the room and outdoor space.
Breakfast, dinner, drinks, and doggie treats!
Drury Inn & Suites Colorado Springs Near the Air Force AcademyWe stayed 4 nights to spend time with family who live in Colorado. It was so convenient to have breakfast, drinks, and dinner in the hotel. Our doggie loved her treats, and had plenty of grass to take care of business. Staff was great also. Large room with 2 queens.
Perfect for us and doggie
The Rim Rock InnWe only stayed 2 nights at Rim Rock, but would go back for a longer stay. The tenderloin at the restaurant was excellent. The cabin was spacious and had views on two sides. We ate dinner on the porch one night. Not much grass for doggie, so it took a little more time to find her a place to take care of business.
Good breakfast, small grassy area for pups
La Quinta by Wyndham MoabRoom was comfy, breakfast was good, coffee good too. Away from main center of town. We had a problem with the AC unit being very loud. Maintenance responded immediately, changed the unit out, but could not solve the problem. Staff was welcoming at check-in.
Good for one night
Drury Inn & Suites AmarilloDryer was broken, one elevator was out of order. Food was OK but not much variety.
Best doggie friendly hotel so far!
Fordson HotelThe staff really made our 3 night stay special. They were friendly and loved our doggie. Best part was that we could leave her in the room unattended, just needed to tell the front desk. Breakfast was included too. There was a dinner restaurant on-site, a separate bar with light dinners, and another dog friendly restaurant behind the hotel. Plus the 1st floor was an art museum! Great for grownups and doggies.
Nice cabin away from the crowds
Calm Waters Cabin ResortA steep hill with lots of trees down to the water had lots of grassy area to walk the dog. Only 20 minutes to most Branson shows.
Brienne was happy and we were happy
Drury Plaza Hotel St Louis at the ArchWe wanted to see the Gateway Arch National Park. We were so close to our hotel, than my husband could walk back to take our doggie out or just check on her in between our scheduled activities. They included breakfast, dinner and drinks just made it so convenient for us - no need to try to find a place to eat. We parked the car in the garage, and just walked to the park and back. And our room was very comfortable with a view of the Arch! Would give them 6 bones if I could.
Should be better once renovations done
Theroff's MotelHad room 36 which appeared to be recently renovations. Clean and near the back. Grassy area behind hotel for doggie. Biggest complaint is that the room was not prepared for our arrival - the AC was not on so it was 81 in there, refrig was not plugged in, so useless for storing any of our food, only had styrofoam cups so could not reheat in microwave. Coffee maker not plugged in. We could only set the cool temp to 72, so room did not get cool enough for sleeping. I think once the owners finish redoing everything, they will focus more on the issues.
A place to sleep
Red Roof Inn Binghamton Johnson CityThe room was small with one window facing the inner walkway between buildings. Did not use the tub as it did not look very good. We did sleep fairly well even though the bed was a bit too soft for us. Only other amenities were a microwave in the lobby, and so-so coffee in the morning in the lobby. Our check-in clerk was super friendly. Would not stay here again.
Comfortable and a hot breakfast in the AM
The Century House Ascend Hotel CollectionI originally booked here because I was bringing my diabetic cat on a trip with me. Sadly she passed away just 10 days before my trip. While I can't comment on how it was having a pet here, the room was very comfortable and clean.
Nice large suite
Residence Inn Marriott FlorenceWe had a 1st floor suite with only 2 other rooms nearby which helped with our puppy who barks at everything. The suite was large and we were able to order delivery from the steak house. And they had a hot breakfast in the morning that was really good. Only reason I did not give them 5 bones, was that there was only a small area for the dogs to do their business.
Beautiful Inn and delicious breakfast
Goodbread HouseWe had the Rhett & Scarlett room which was great being next to the front door with our two dogs. We were the only guests that night too. Nice area too, but we did not get to see much of it since we were only there one night.
mixed review
Aloft Richmond West Short PumpComfortable Bed, nice area for dogs outside. No breakfast, not even bagged. Had to pay for snacks. No water in room, coffee lid was covered in coffee stains. Front desk attendant was off-putting, maybe a bit rude. Nice area though.
Nice large suite
Residence Inn by Marriott FishkillWe had a 2nd floor suite in a corner which made for a long walk, but also gave more privacy as no one walked by causing our dogs to bark. There was a bar and dinner on site that we had delivered to our room. The food was mediocre, but nice not to have to go out. Room was clean. A bit pricy - with the fee for the dogs came to about $200 for the night.
Beautiful Inn and delicious breakfast
The Inn on Front StreetWe had a dog, puppy, and cat. We received a warm welcome, were allowed to eat dinner with the dogs in the kitchen dining room, and had a delicious breakfast. The room was lovely and thankfully our puppy behaved through the entire stay. So nice to stay in a beautiful inn when traveling with our pets. Thank you for having us.
Great for dogs and people!
Sleep Inn StauntonWe would stay at the Sleep Inn in Staunton again. The staff was great, the room was very nice, and there was a self-serve breakfast. The only negative was the coffee in the lobby, but the coffee in the room was OK. Our puppy was very naughty, so we had to clean up a lot, but there was no pet fee. And the rate was great too. I don't know how they do it, as other places were more expensive and not as nice.
Large 1st floor suite great for our 2 dogs and our cat. But no breakfast.
Candlewood Suites Harrisburg I-81 - Hershey Area an IHG HotelConvenient for us with the large suite. Bed was comfortable. We had to drive through a blizzard and freezing rain to get there, so trying not to lower the rating because of that. Major negative was no breakfast. They had some items to purchase, but nothing we would eat. And the coffee was terrible. The pool looked nice, but we were too tired to try it out and there was free washer & dryer.
Nice suite and easy on / off highway
Residence Inn Marriott DanburyGreat overnight stop with two dogs and one cat. The reason it did not get 5 bones was that the bed was a little small, and the dog walk area was in back with the highway noise very close. Our puppy was scared of all the noise and would not pee there. But the room was great and there is a steak house next door so we could have dinner in our room with our furry babies.
A terrible place for people and pets
Oyster Point Inn & Suites Newport NewsThis is supposed to be a non-smoking hotel . The entire 3rd floor reeks of cigarette smoke . We could not stay in the first room (330) they put us in because it gave me a headache. The second room (307) was marginally better, but still smelled bad.
There was dog pee in the hall on the first floor linoleum or vinyl floors that was not cleaned up for at least 1.50 hours. The carpets in the halls upstairs are filthy. The shower floor looks dirty - Dark stuff on the beige color. The owner leaves threatening notes on all occupied rooms [if I find out whose smoking cigarettes or marijuana I will call the cops on you]. The parking lot should be swept clean. The place for dogs to relieve themselves has piles of dog doo someone did not clean up. We stayed two of our three nights and have so far been refused a refund for the third night.
Love this Inn
Admiral Fell Inn Baltimore Harbor Ascend Hotel CollectionThe only reason this did not receive five stars is that it is difficult to get to with all the Baltimore traffic and there is no place to park. We had our F-250 truck which made it more difficult. But the Inn is lovely, in a great spot near the water with lots of places to eat and drink, and a place to walk the dog (not much grass though) across the street. They have a tavern and a continental breakfast in the morning. The room was comfortable. Would recommend for anyone with or without a pet who would like to be in the city.
Great stopover on our way home
Ethan Allen HotelThe staff at Ethan Allen were very friendly and helpful. They had a restaurant also which was helpful after a long day of driving and traffic from Baltimore, MD on a Friday. The room was comfortable and our dog was happy to have a carpet to sleep on. We would stay here again.
