Fabulous location!
La Quinta by Wyndham Opelika AuburnWe’ve traveled from coast to coast this trip and this has by far been the nicest, cleanest, cheapest dog friendly location we’ve stayed at. The hotel seems newly renovated or built. Rooms were clean and spacious for two big dogs, bed was comfortable. Lots of grassy areas for the dogs and close walking distance food options. The breakfast in the morning had many options, including hot food (which many aren’t due to covid). We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Decent stay away from the bustle of NOLA
St Charles InnIt was a nice clean hotel overall. Staff is very unhelpful and nonchalant when you have questions or problems. Plumbing is slow which is to be expected. Good location for dogs lots of green areas and can walk around. There’s a Mexican restaurant next to the hotel that serves good food. The streetcar was broken all day we were there so we had to Lyft to Bourbon Street.

Not a bad location
La Quinta by Wyndham Shreveport AirportOverall pretty clean. They didn’t have any weight restrictions as we had two 70 lb dogs and they didn’t mention an issue. The room/carpet smelt very wet and as if it had just been “shampooed”. The smell never went away and carpet was wet all night. The bed was very worn and sunk in. The potty areas were more grassy and open than most hotels. Dogs have to come through the back door which isn’t a problem for us but some may complain I suppose. Friendly staff.

Good location for big pups
La Quinta by Wyndham Ruidoso DownsWe had a good one night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious enough for two big dogs. Breakfast was sufficient and areas out back were good for potty spots.

Great dog friendly stop!
White Sands National ParkFun place to stop and explore and stretch out the dog legs on a road trip! Trailer access friendly and easy to spread out and not see another person for awhile. Dogs loved being able to sniff and exercise

Look elsewhere
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Tucson EastOne of the dirtiest hotels I’ve stayed. It’s doable if you’re passing through for one quick night. Half the things at breakfast were broken or not working. The bed wasn’t terrible.
