Stress free stay for my pup
Holiday Inn Charlottesville-Monticello an IHG HotelI had no issues getting in last minute and they accept large dogs.

Mostly pleasant and love that they allow large dogs
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham St Pete-Clearwater AirptDespite being a non-smoking hotel there was often a heavy stench of cigarette smoke in my room. I am not sure if it was coming from adjacent guest rooms or staff access nearby.
My second issue was with other guests and not the hotel. The hotel provides pet waste stations equipped with bags and poop dispensers which largely went unused. Unfortunately, that kind of lazy, gross and irresponsible behavior reflects badly on all of us traveling with dogs!
