Not the best experience
Super 8 by Wyndham Abingdon VAWent OK once we got in. Room was clean, beds were comfortable. OK areas to walk our dog.

Good basic hotel
Super 8 by Wyndham PetersburgSeveral reviewers gave this place bad reviews. Said it was old, smelly and dirty. At some time in the recent past the hotel has had a refresh. It has been painted, updated and cleaned. It has plenty of areas to walk your dog. This is advertised as a "basic" hotel...which it is. Breakfast was a little anemic but adequate. For one or two nights it was fine.

Hotel is Good
Days Inn by Wyndham WythevilleHotel is fine. Clean, nice amenities like coffee in the room, hair dryer, etc. Also had an on-site breakfast. Easy walk to Shoneys as well. Adequate space to walk our dog.

All around good!
Red Roof Inn KingsportRead all the negative reviews...I don't get it! Is it a five-bone Hotel? No...but it is clean, well maintained and there have been improvements. Plus it's close to many restaurants that should please most palettes. In addition that serve actual breakfast, even though it did not include fruits or yogurt (?). We would do it again.

Nice hotel... but
Motel 6 Bristol VAThe hotel is very clean, well maintained and dog accommodations were good. But the hotel is very anemic in the little things that make hotels "homey". No shampoo/conditioner, no coffee in the room, no art on the walls, no hair dryer. Plain vanilla at its best. But a good price.

Good for a one nighter
Red Roof Inn & Suites WythevilleThe hotel is clean, very well priced, convenient to I-81, and offers ample space to walk your dogs. The down side is it is showing its age with torn upholstery, chipped sinks/toilets and tvs that don't work. Whomever put in their laminate floors should find another line of work.

Perfect stay
La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Richmond SouthRoom was perfect and staff was friendly. Plenty of room outside to "walk" your dog.
