Great place for dogs (people too)
Residence Inn by Marriott Southern Pines/Pinehurst NCEasily accessible, large rooms, plenty of grass for walking. Dog friendly rooms are on a lower level than the lobby, so not a lot of passerby to generate barking. Breakfast limited due to Covid.

Great folks in a great place
John Rutledge House InnThis facility was built in 1763, but it features a free off street parking lot, very helpful in the narrow streets of old Charleston. Fabulous southern hospitality on display by all staff , to the point of driving me to a local hospital ER for an illness (unrelated to B&B) .

Great location for dogs and humans
Kimpton Brice Hotel an IHG HotelHotel is very dog friendly, and located between 2 public parks that are also dog friendly and a block in either direction.
