Comfort Suites Southport - Oak IslandOur suite was very roomy. The play/run area for pups consist of a swampy area with no fence where smokers congregate. Front desk staff was friendly though I was asked for the $25 pet fee in the middle of the night when I took my dog to pee. That seemed like bad timing. The hotel is close to several great beaches- be careful of rules for leashes and times.

Great location
Crowne Plaza Resort Asheville an IHG HotelThis hotel was convenient to many Asheville spots. Lobby was beautiful. Too many yummy things to eat to try the food. Biscuits provided to my dog smelled yummy. Bed was comfy. Lots of great walking areas. Once things are more open post COVID, this place has lots to offer (massage, zip lines, pool).
