Not so dog friendly
Side Street CafeWe went to this restaurant because of the reviews on this site and on tripadvisor. I must honestly say that our waitress was not very found of dogs at all and she did not offer a bowl of water for our dog. We had to sot outside and the only seats that are outside are these bar stools which is not handy when you have a min pin as a dog. The food was good.

Stewman's Lobster Pound DowntownI have to say that it was a bit disappointing that they were out of mussels.. it is a fish restaurant for god sake. But anyway.. we went there for diner with our min pin and the person who brought us to our table was very nice to her but the actual waiter did not say anything to our dog or even asked if she needed a bowl to drink from or anything. There is a “special area” for dogs and kids and there were big dogs who didn’t mind the kids being loud but there were other dogs that started barking because of the kids and the parents obviously not doing anything about it. Overall I would ratethis as ok given that it was summer and we could sit outside for that reason but I would not go back there.
