Took too long to check in
Candlewood Suites Richmond-South an IHG HotelAfter driving 500 miles and getting to the hotel the last thing we want to deal with was the desk attendant not being able to find a reservation. I gave him the confirmation number and our last name and he still couldn’t find it he had about 12 reservation slips on the front desk and he couldn’t find it there either. It took about 10 minutes and was super frustrating. The hotel smelled like marijuana and cigarettes even though it’s a non-smoking hotel. The one good thing was that it was actually very quiet and the mattress was good so we slept well.
