Good place to stay
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gassaway/SuttonA comfortable, basic and clean hotel that allows large dogs. Only downside is the need to keep dogs out of the lobby, but that was minor. No designated dog walk area with waste station, but adequate grassy areas near the parking. We were assigned a room on the first floor near the side entrance, which is helpful.
Bare bones
Motel 6 MorgantownThe hotel permits pups, so it deserves some credit, but it’s not great for doggies or their humans (at least currently). The biggest problem is there is nowhere to walk Fido, with much ongoing construction and doesn’t appear to have been anywhere before construction either. We were also assigned an upstairs room (with open stairs), so not great for doggos. Room was large and clean but had issues such as phone, TV remote and night light not working and no hair dryer. OK as last resort, but there are better options.
Clean, new and dog friendly!
La Quinta by Wyndham MorgantownThis is a great place to stay with your furry friends. Clean and comfortable, a good breakfast, and a friendly Staff. Will definitely stay here again!
A hidden gem!
The Village Inn HarrisonburgThis place was great for a stay, with or without a pet. There was lots of room to run with out dog, a great pool, and tasty morning buffet. Very friendly staff. We’ll be back!
All good!
