Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Sandusky SouthVery clean rooms at a very affordable price, with giant grassy areas for pet relief/walks. Everything we needed on a 14-hour drive (plus breakfast!)

Great hotel…if you’re a dog
Econo Lodge Inn & Suites MiddletownLet’s start on a happy note: this hotel was $77 on a holiday weekend near a national park, which is a pretty amazing deal. Pup appreciated the GIANT grassy area to romp around in. For people…well…this hotel was $77 on a holiday weekend. The sheets were wrinkled (I hope, but do not know, that they had been washed), there was a mildew smell, the coffee maker was missing cups and coffee, the shampoo had been partly used, and there was just one plastic water cup. All that said…serviceable and not horrifying. You could do worse if you’re passing through, especially if your first concern is your doggo’s comfort.
