Perfect stay

Modern and well appointed room. Excellent bar and grill. Lots of places to walk the dogs despite the downtown location. Parking garage kept the car slightly warmer in sub-zero temperatures.

Unexpected charges

The BringFido reservation said $75 pet fee per stay for 2 dogs. The hotel website says $100 per stay for 2 dogs. The front desk person 11pm Friday night officiously insisted that their policy is $75 per pet per night — $300 for the stay. He said if I objected he’d cancel my reservation and didn’t guarantee a refund. I had prepaid and 11pm is very late for an ultimatum. In addition, there were a bunch of other charges that they insist weren’t part of what I prepaid. Anyone staying at this place needs to beware of unexpected and possibly illegal charges. BringFido confirmed pet fee was $75 per stay and did a wonderful job forcing the hotel to comply with their stated policies. The 2 bones are for the actual hotel facility which was clean and updated.
