La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Roanoke SalemFacility is right off the highway. Tucked away from traffic. Clean, pretty new. Safe place to walk dogs. Huge, comfortable beds. Lots of pets but all quiet. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

Major improvements
Quality Inn & SuitesWhile this location is centrally located and easy off-on major transportation, stays in the past were marginal because hotel was very run down and neglected. We were pleasantly surprised to see a renovation and rooms were updated and fresh. Beds were very comfortable, carpets replaced with laminate, exteriors re-sided and all looked good. Still have a ways to go to complete the entire complex but Ziggy's is open for breakfast (included in room charge). Gotta get rid of the wild cats they feed in front of the lobby as our 2 labs went nuts when they saw that! Very satisfied overall with our stay on this trip.

Easy on/off highway
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson Fredericksburg South (I-95) VABig private area to walk dogs. Attached to a Denny’s for food. Hard to get heat up in room, but clean and quiet
