Dearth in Death valley
Death Valley Inn & RV ParkThere aren't many pet-friendly properties in close proximity to Death Valley National Park. Death Valley Inn and RV Park in Beatty, NV was adequate but unremarkable. Pros: The room was clean, quiet, and furnished with a refrigerator and microwave, A short walk from the Beatty city park, which welcomes dogs on-leash. A short drive to Rhyolite ghost town - worth a visit, but underwhelming - and a bit longer to the Furnace Creek Visitor Center. Cons: No special welcome, amenities, or attention to the pets. Reception area is sparse and rather uninviting. Fine Dining at Denny's!
Bottom Line: You don't have many choices in the area. From its exterior, the Amargosa Opera House lodging looks dreadful and Longstreet seemed even more isolated, albeit in better shape.
