Needs better housekeeping
Holiday Inn Dubuque/Galena an IHG HotelBecause we travel with our dogs, we always go to our room first to check it over before taking the dogs in. Good thing we did! We found Fritos on the floor, a piece of a plastic zip tie, 2 beer bottle caps and an unidentified pill. It also appeared that the area under the floating vanity and corners in the bathroom had not been cleaned in a very long time. On a good note, the breakfast was great and it was very quiet. Potty area for dogs is small but our dogs did fine. We did talk to the front desk about the items found in the room before brining the dogs in and they said they'd talk to housekeeping. Please check out hotel rooms anywhere you travel before taking your pets in them. This is not the first time we have found unidentified pills on the floor of a hotel room when traveling
Excellent Customer Service - Dog Friendlly
Best Western Coach HouseWe traveled to the North American Dock Diving National Showcase with our 3 goldens who were competing in this event. Never before have we received such fantastic customer service. Everyone was friendly and helpful and made us feel like part of the family. The hotel was full of competitors and dogs and we didnt hear alot of dogs barking. Their little dog park was nice and there was ample space for your dog to relieve itself. We would definitely go back again. The room was clean and breakfast good. However, we wished there was more variety in the hot items
