Honest Opinion

Two Shepherds Taproom

Really cool concept but needs a lot of work. Two Shepherds is taproom dedicated to dogs. It’s $7 for your pup to visit for the day and $250 for an annual pass (which is outrageous compared to most places charging $50 annually). Good selection of drinks that were reasonably priced, staff were super friendly, it was nice to sit in A/C, and ultimately my dog had a good time.

For the cons: There is no shade outside so it’s pretty much unusable in summer and no one was out there. Would love to see some coverings and fans put up. The inside is also a concrete floor with some cheap pop up pieces for the dogs to play around with...which I saw zero use in our hour there aside from dogs tripping on them. They had a couple of turf benches but otherwise the dogs were running (and pooping) on concrete floors and my dog who can go ALL DAY at other dog bars was ready to leave after an hour. But again, cool concept, definitely worth a visit especially if you’re looking for a more chill vibe than other dog bars, but we’d just like to see a little more love put into it before we go back.

Good Spot

Glory Days Grill

Restaurant has a nice outdoor covered patio and servers bring your dog a water bowl. Tv’s are a little loud when sports are on and it scared our pup at first so keep that in mind if you have a jumpy dog!
