The Worst Motel I’ve Stayed In In Years

Best Western Natchitoches is a complete joke of a business. The staff are completely inept and I would not recommend anyone stay here, dog or not.
I arrived at check in time to the check in staff on the phone, answering questions about restaurants in the area while 2 more parties stood in front of us also waiting to check in. We stood there for 10 minutes after I got there (who knows how long this went on while the other parties waited) while she tapped about the area completely ignoring the already paying customers in front of her. Finally I check in and am handed my keys only to be told my room wasn’t ready, and the maids were “just finishing up.” No problem, right? Well yes it is. I ended up sitting in the lobby for 40 minutes while the maid “just finished up” along with the parties that were in front of me. Guess all their rooms were just finishing up as well. When I came down to walk my dog at 7:00pm, the lobby was still standing room only with guests waiting for their rooms to be finished up... 4 hours after check in time.

Woke up the next morning to no water. Asked the maid and got “oh I forgot they shut off the water to the building for maintenance.” They just decided not to tell all of us paying to stay there. Guess they figured we didn’t need to know. Again, don’t know when exactly it was shut off, but from the time I found out about it to when I finally got to take a shower, was 3 1/2 hours. The staff at the desk were confused as to why I might be upset they shut everything down without telling anybody. Again, completely inept. Once it did get
Turned back on, I was excited to find that the hot was cold and cold was hot! So if you do get looped in to staying here, be careful before sticking a hand under a faucet because you will most likely be getting scalded.

I just want to reiterate, this place is a garbage business, stay anywhere else.
