Love this place!
Hoof Hearted BrewingThe only brewery I've been to that has its own small trail through the woods! When the weather's nice, nothing beats grabbing a beer and wandering into the trees. There are even picnic tables a short way out, and it can be so peaceful out there. The taproom has a few pinball machines and arcade games available with the selection still growing, so inside or outside, this place is the coolest! My only complaint is that their beer rotation tends to be very IPA and sour heavy, but such is the struggle of a dark beer drinker. I still always find something to enjoy!
Delicious beer, great outdoor seating!
Rhetoric Brewing CoBecause dogs are allowed inside the taproom, Rhetoric is one of my go-to spots for a beer with the pup during the cold months, but nothing beats the outdoor space! It's so serene. Besides the killer beer, they also offer some great wine and sometimes even mead. The variety is wonderful! I love this place!
Such a neat place!
Nancy Forrester's Secret GardenUnfortunately, Nancy was out when we visited, but there are signs listing all sorts of information about the birds and we still had a great time. I never realized how fascinating parrots could be! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Key West. Our pup had a wonderful time!
Very inviting!
Papa’s Pilar Rum Distillery, Hemingway Rum CompanyWe had so much fun here trying out some cocktails and taking in the beautiful space, and our dog was so welcome. The atmosphere is unbeatable!
So fun!
Key West AquariumI'm not usually an aquarium type of gal, but spending time here with my pup was pure magic. So many cool things to see and so many educational opportunities! Even Grim was fascinated! Definitely hope to visit again someday.
Sheri is the best!
Captain Sheri's Wild About DolphinsWe didn't see any dolphins and our booking ended up falling on a dreary, almost chilly day, but we still had such a good time! Sheri has such a wealth of knowledge, and she was SO GOOD to our dog. Being on the boat made him nervous, and she kept the pace slow so he'd be okay. I loved learning about the area from someone who truly knows the lay of the land. Definitely recommend Sheri's service if you're looking to spend some time on the water!
Yum!!!
La Creperie French CafeWe had to wait a bit for a table in the dog-friendly outdoor space, but it was worth every minute! The food and drinks were delicious!
Loved this place!
Rams Head SouthernmostStopped here to enjoy a bloody Mary at the outdoor bar with the pup, and I wish we could've stayed longer! The drink was divine, and the atmosphere was so fun!
Wonderful food and atmosphere!
Blue HeavenThe food was to die for, and you really can't beat the vibe! Our dog enjoyed observing the chicken activity in the area -- and so did we, if I'm honest! Unfortunately, because of how cool this place is, the wait time was abominable, and I was unimpressed with the service. I understand being a little slow when managing a crowd like that, but being downright rude and unwelcoming isn't great. Still, I'd give it another shot!
Perfect Location, No Complaints!
Wingate by Wyndham Kings Bay Naval BaseMy husband and I stopped here for a night on our way to Key West from Ohio and then again on our way back, and our 65-pound pup was welcomed both times. The location was convenient, the rooms were fine, and the free breakfast was just what we needed to grab a quick bite in the morning before resuming our travels.
Perfection!
The Perry Hotel & Marina Key WestMy husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon with our 65-pound retriever mix in November of 2022, and I can't say enough good things about it! The location is by Key West without being wrapped up in the hustle and bustle of the area, and the shuttle to and from Key West was so convenient! Our room was well-appointed. The restaurants available on-site offered quite a bit of variety (although more vegetarian options certainly wouldn't hurt), and the highlight of the trip for me was being able to take a beautiful walk down to the conveniently located dog park every morning and grab a cup of coffee from the little on-site shop on the way back to the room. Grim loved it, and so did we! Definitely on my list of locations to visit again.
Always good food and a good time!
Gresso'sI'm a sucker for any restaurant with a food menu for dogs, and this one delivers! Good food for people and the pup, and it's always fun to people watch from the patio. Very welcoming environment for dogs.
Super neat place!
Oddfellows Liquor BarI visited Oddfellows early on a weekday, so they weren't too busy, and the atmosphere was perfect for my laid-back retriever and I. He hung out under my barstool and watched the people go by, enjoying the occasional pet from a friendly customer or bartender while I enjoyed a delicious mixed drink. Overall a very welcoming and enjoyable environment for us both! I'll definitely be back!
Super dog friendly and so much to choose from!
Dalton Union Winery & BreweryOne of my favorite places to visit with the pup! They're dog friendly both inside and out, and as someone who enjoys all sorts of beer, wine, mead, and cider, I'll never be able to get through all of the delicious and unique libations they offer. Always something new and tasty to try, and the beautiful, out-of-the-way location can't be beat! Always worth the trip!
Love this place!
Marion Brewing CompanyMBC is hands down my favorite place in Marion to visit with my pup. Dogs are allowed inside as well as on the patio! They always have a water bowl and treats at the ready, so my pup and I always feel welcome, and the delicious beer definitely doesn't hurt!
