Basement room
Best Western DuBois HotelI understand putting dogs on the ground floor for easy access to outdoors, however this room appeared to be in the basement. And while it was comfortable it felt a little concerning if something had happened whether we could get out or not.

Nice hotel
Aloft Leawood Overland ParkAloft rooms are consistently good. I didn’t like an elevator ride to check in and then an elevator ride the the room. The parking garage was inconvenient and you needed to go across the street to find grassy areas.
